This document is a prepared draft that reflects how OGS actually works. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and must be reviewed before OGS trades commercially.
These terms form the contract between you and Dawie Stander's World of Golf for use of OGS.
1Provider and scope
OGS is a digital service that records your golf rounds hole by hole and calculates performance analysis from them, for golfers, coaches and university programmes.
2What OGS does and does not promise
OGS analyses the rounds you record. Every figure is calculated deterministically from your own data: the same rounds always produce the same result. OGS describes what your scores show. It does not predict outcomes, does not guarantee improvement, and is not coaching instruction or advice about how to swing a golf club.
Scores are treated as gross scores. Where OGS compares you with reference players, those comparisons use real recorded competitive rounds; OGS never fabricates a scorecard.
3Your account
You need an account to use OGS. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for the accuracy of the rounds you record.
4Free use and paid plans
OGS is free to start and stays free within a set capacity. Paid plans increase capacity; they do not unlock a different product. Current capacity limits and prices are shown on the pricing page and form part of this contract at the time you subscribe.
If you stop paying, nothing you have already recorded is deleted or hidden. You keep your rounds, your history and your analysis; only your capacity to add more returns to the free level.
5Prices, payment and renewal
Prices are shown per plan and per currency before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe; OGS never receives your card details. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually, on the same calendar day, until cancelled. The University Programme is annual only.

6Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription does not renew. Paid time is not shortened.
Use the Cancel contracts here page, which is reachable without signing in, or manage the subscription from your plan settings. Cancellation is separate from the statutory right of withdrawal described on the withdrawal page.
7Coaches, teams and universities
A coach, team or university programme can pay for access on behalf of an athlete, but never owns that athlete’s identity, rounds or history. Those remain the golfer’s. A coach can see a golfer’s performance data only where the golfer has an active permission relationship with them, and the golfer can withdraw that permission at any time. If sponsored access ends, the golfer keeps their account and their data.
8Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another person’s data, disrupt the service, scrape it in bulk, resell it, or upload content you have no right to upload. OGS may suspend an account that does.
9Your content
Your rounds, photographs and answers remain yours. You grant OGS only the permission needed to store them and to calculate and display your analysis. OGS does not sell your data.
10Availability and changes
OGS aims for continuous availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access; maintenance and faults happen. Where a change materially affects your rights, OGS will give notice and you may cancel.
11Liability
[[LIABILITY FRAMEWORK — LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED]]
Nothing in this contract limits liability for injury to life, body or health, or for intent or gross negligence, or under the German Product Liability Act. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12Governing law and dispute resolution
[[GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION — LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED]]
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
